It is a magazine stand at a public space. The audience can approach and freely browse its content (the magazines which belonged to the artist) and take it with them. Through this object/experience, the artist, like Jesus, would "offer himself", "abandon himself" to the public. It is the process of self-liberalization, self-revelation or renewal. Due to the mirrors attached to the top of the object, here is a touch of exhibitionism/voyeurism. The mirror is the surface where the reality and the illusion meet. According to Jacques Lacan, a French psychoanalyst, one’s identity only exists in the social context (mass cultures, consumption, publicities, power/class, images of beauty, ugliness, violence...). In this sense, one does not know what the real “me” is. Through "Jesus magazine stand", the artist invites the audiences to participate in the process of the renewal of contents, i.e., his self-revelation, and at the same time invite them to participate in their own subconscious "editing process".

C'est un stand à journaux dans un espace public. L’assistance peut approcher et librement passer en revue son contenu (les magazines qui ont appartenu à l'artiste) et l’emporter avec eux. Par cet objet, cette expérience, l'artiste, comme Jésus, "s'offrirait", s’"abandonnerait lui-même" au public. C'est le processus d'auto-libération, d'auto-révélation ou encore de renouvellement. Avec les miroirs suspendus au dessus de l'objet, on trouve un zeste d'exhibitionnisme ou de voyeurisme. Le miroir est la surface où la réalité et l'illusion se réunissent. Selon Jacques Lacan, un psychanalyste français, l’identité individuelle n’existe que dans son contexte social (culture de masse, consommation, publicités, pouvoir et classes sociales, images de beauté, de laideur, de violence...). Dans ce sens, on ne sait pas ce qu'est le vrai "je". Avec "le stand à journaux de Jésus", l'artiste invite l’assistance à participer au processus de renouvellement des contenus, c.-à-d., son art de l'auto-révélation, et les invite en même temps à participer à leur propre "procédé d'édition" subconscient.
